Completed 1995 The Auburn Riverside campus is a unique linear site that is bisected by a stream and the vehicular entrance to a city park. Thomas Rengstorf & Associates worked with the design team to rehabilitate the stream corridor which was mistreated. The north end of the site consists entirely of three natural turf baseball fields with a large enough outfield for a full size soccer pitch. Across the street from the main campus are nine tennis courts with an eighty car parking lot. The main campus included a synthetic track and football field and a natural turf competition baseball field. The student courtyard designed by Thomas Rengstorf & associates allows gathering spaces in two areas away from the main circulation route from the bus loading area to the school entrance. |
