Replacement School for the Lake Washington School District

TRA developed the campus masterplan for the International Community School and the Community Elementary School.  The site concept divides the High School for the High School population. This was accomplished by a sunken play court and amphitheater. The Junior High and High School focus on the playfield and large terrace overlooking Lake Washington, Bus drop off and pick up was separated from the very busy parent drop portion of the site. Gabion walls were used to retain the large outdoor terrace space on the north end of the building.
