Thomas Rengstorf Associates worked with the City of Auburn Parks and Recreation Department and the developer as part of the masterplanning of the Lakeland community. The 15-acre park features formal and informal playfields, playgrounds, sport courts, a skate park, a picnic shelter, washrooms and a one-mile loop trail. Sunset Parks trail system connects to a larger network of trails throughout the Lakeland community which includes the Lakeland Hills Linear Trail also designed by Thomas Rengstorf Associates.
