Thomas Rengstorf Associates was presented the unique challenge of modernizing the
existing vehicular delivery ramps of a 75 year old building into a pedestrian friendly building entrance. Planters were created out of corrugated metal pipes and board form concrete. The existing asphalt ramps were covered with concrete pavers and river rock to create a texturally interesting environment that transformed the ramps and the building.
